I've AR'ed my way through every DS Pokemon game (except for my initial play through) and I've learned how to make my AR Pokes look legit. I don't hack to make their stats stupid (i.e. 999 for all stats), i stick to each pokes natural limits. I only "cheat" to get certain Pokemon i couldn't otherwise obtain and i only change their natures, ev/iv counts and occasionally give them moves they shouldn't have (my Samurott knows shell smash and secret sword and I'm not sorry). I don't play competitively because i hate smogon tiers and ragequitters.
tl;dr i do everything with my AR that breeders do except faster.
