Honestly? Downloading and playing this shit on my flashcart in Japanese. I didn't understand shit. but I didn't need to. Pokémon is best when the "story" is made by you, and not an on rails experience of what you should care about. Although Gen 5 was linear (to a fault), the fact that I skipped all the dialog and had completely fresh mons to work with made the game so much more engaging.

I went to AX during the height of BW. You would know, if you've ever been. Add that to Pokémon connectivity and ... yeah, I miss it. a lot. but it was a time and a place I will never get back.
Nostalgia is for the weak. Move on or die, suffering.
