SV wouldn't look so bad if they didn't have to sacrifice resolution, aliasing, frame rate, and trying to physically-ground a bunch of stylized rendering decisions from the previous generations into PBR parameters like roughness/metalness.
even splatoon ran into similar issues and had to resort to a bunch of up-scaling tech to mitigate hardware issues.
