I want to make a hack using the emerald expansion as a base but i'm not an artist.
If I were to go through with it it would probably look like shit.
Something like frlg overworld character sprites in the emerald tileset, and the DS styled pokemon battle sprites that everyone uses, also no original characters unless it's something like a recolor.
I think I understand why so many people just do QOLhacks now.
