>>47415347I like tier lists because it drives discussion in the community and helps give direction for some players. I think almost all the pokemon feel good to play.
S Tier
Talonflame and Garchomp: So as it stands for now the two best mons to carry a game with are TF and Garchomp. Their ability to score and kill are just so high. Talonflame has incredible mobility and kill potential. Garchomp has the ability to solo map objectives including zapdos and then can scamper or solo a team otw to dunk a game ending 50ball. The game really does come down to the last 2minutes. Both of those mons excel at that.
A Tier
People have been over valuing raw kill/harassment potential. While killing is good and will help you carry it isn't the only thing. So mons that have good kits for fighting but lack the mobility fall below TF and Garchomp, like Absol and the mages (Pikachu, Ninetails, and Gardevoir.)
This is where I also placed what I see are the best tanks and supports in Eldegoss, Blastoise, and Slowbro.
Greninja: I believe people are sleeping on his potential. He is easily played incorrectly, but has a lot of potential to carry a game in a similar way as Garchomp.
B tier
These mons are strong and can carry but lack the extra little umph (like multiple jumps or the raw burst) that S and A tier have. Cinderace and Mr. Mime (maybe Snorelax too) are the mons I have placed on here that are very close to power with A tier.
C Tier
I like playing all of these except for Cramorant. These four mons mostly do the same job as everyone else but needs more work. Venusaur is my most played mon at the moment but I switched off of him due to his lack of mobility and consistent burst.
As a side note if anyone is interested in forming a team/playing some friendly but competitive 5v5s let me know. I have a group already that is ready to play.
