I really didn't want to do it so I quoted him what I thought was an insane price, but he immediately paid up. I assumed he was just a harmless weirdo and decided to take the easy money.
It wasn't until after I'd finished it that I found out he'd been harassing other nuzlocke comic creators who had shown Mewtwo getting defeated in their comics. Always regretted not milking him for more...I think he literally would have paid anything.
