The only thing that really held Pokemon like Scyther back at the time was the fact that GF, in their infinite wisdom, forgot to give Bugs any good STAB.

>>43352843Bug is a fine type these days. It's shit on paper, but they generally have access to really powerful moves such as QD and Powders. Plus STAB U-turn is always nice. DESU I'd say that Bug is a better type to have on your mon competitively than Normal.
