>>37632640hmm. I'll try this.
So I live in a fairly urban area, with lots of stray cats, so I expect there'd be a lot of meowth, and maybe a rare eevee if I'm pushing it, running around. Also a lot of power plants and windmills in my city, so possible rare sightings of pokemon like magnemite, shinx, or elekid.
Also live near a river where crabbing was popular, and frogs are pretty common, turtles very uncommon. So I imagine typical fish pokemon like Magikarp, psyduck, krabby, corphish, poliwag, with a rare chance at getting froakie, and a very rare chance at squirtle.
We also have a lot of parks and forests, where deer are common, and raccoons are pretty popular. So, Zigzagoon, Sentret, common bug, grass and bird types, and then Deerling.
There are farms in my state, so Miltank and Tauros aren't out of the question.
In my case, considering I'm usually busy with school or driving for work, and most of my free time is either spending time with my siblings or playing video games or going to the gym, I'd probably want only a few pokemon that are easy to raise/self-sufficient, and they'd have to be friendly enough with kids.
I'd probably catch a Poliwag and evolve it into a Poliwhirl but go no further, because I like Poliwhirl more than it's evolutions.
I'd also catch a Shinx for my brothers and one for myself, that I'd train into a Luxray, which according to the dex can be very protective of their young.
And finally I'd catch a Pidgey that I'd train into at least a Pidgeotto. Pidgeot would be too big and hard to keep track off if you flew off too far, whereas Pidgeotto seems like the type of bird mon that would appreciate the space of just a decently sized park to fly around in for exercise.
Since I live close to the water, it'd be easy for my guys to take care of themselves hunting fish mons and whatnot.
Strong, but still some coolness and cuteness to them, it'd be pretty cool
