I think GF is starting to crash-correct the issue somewhat - hence Incineroar on all fours, and looking relatively normal-proportioned in the newest art and positively normal-sized in the movie - check the pic here. Disliking Incineroar in general is definitely one thing, but here it's at least a positive step in the right direction from the horrendous 3D model. Same goes for them making art of Decidueye FLYING after probably realizing outside the Z-Move the owl was not seen doing it anywhere at all in poke-media.
I always thought the fursuit/humanoid accusations for all three starters were overrated and exaggerated.
