I've been re-watching the series from the beginning, currently on episode 31, and I still think it's fine. It's awkward sometimes and the side characters all have hit or miss voices/performances, but the main cast is pretty solid so far and already improving, not that they were awful to begin with. Some odd edits aside, the script is fine, also. Or at the very least, serviceable. Team Rocket's a bit heavy on the puns, but I roll my eyes more than I groan, so I'm cool with it.
