Quick update; I always play through my games "blind". I either have never played the specific game before or I am just playing based on what I can remember, so that means I sometimes get fucked HARD by gyms and shit.
For example, I'd forgotten that your rival's Torkoal is pretty beefy in this. He easily sweeped a couple of my Pokemon once he was set up.
So, I absolutely REKT Brawly with surprising ease, using a ridiculously under-leveled Dustox.
