It was from Serena all along. You can notice in this picture that it's still sunset. TR will be stealing all the gifts and then Ash goes on and retrieves them which after that goes to that night scene where he shows Serena the gift and thanks her for it.
It could be a lot better since Ash would've needed to gift Serena back because of it if Serena doesn't have any other gifts prepared to the other two..
