Mimikyu is slightly better due to having leech life for recovery instead of astonish, but its summons are worse. Fast hypnosis haunter got replaced by will o wisp users, which isn't as good. Then again, that haunter was broken against the typical aslowlan team.
Kommo-o is leagues better. You don't have the free Farium-Z beforehand. Its berry allows it to survive a fairy hit and retaliate with poison jab. And if all of that doesn't work, it'll summon a scizor to cover for fairy and psychic or noivern to screech and add to the physical damage. It also got recovery with drain punch and coverage with thunder punch. The ally pokemon it summoned previously were also in their 30s while the new ones are comparable to kommo-o
Ribbombee is just flat out new. It has some kinks, but the two stage boosts and quiver dance spam dance is enough to freak most people out initially. That said, it doesn't have anything to really deal with its fairy weaknesses. Pelliper is mostly there to cover for bug type weaknesses, and Chansey is just there for healing.
