>>56761801There are actually non-Japanese artists that I like quite a bit and understand how to draw my husbandos just right, but they are very rare. It's more like, wading through seas of trans headcanons and weird depictions of autism that turns me off from browsing western tags when the most I get from weird Japanese art is general fetish stuff that I've been stomaching for years and feel nothing about when I see it.
>>56762701I've heard that Japanese people also sometimes misunderstand kimono, kind of like how traditional European underwear is often forgotten about/misinterpreted as being similar to modern underwear. Women's bloomers had open crotches for hygiene reasons, but most people don't know that. I'm just a bit of a historical fashion nerd. Anyways, I'm pretty sure the picture isn't AI, it's just a basic error a real artist would still make. I know as a drawfriend myself I've forgotten important details before many times.
