Here's a suggestion for everyone on /vp/ that primarily is a fan of Pokémon because of the games:
There's lots of different monster collection games out there. Play them, give them a chance.
If after you played them you still prefer Pokémon 100% and think it's the best monster collection game franchise ever, don't fucking complain about SwSh just because not all your mons are in.
