and they're both shit tier in that regard but from a in-game playthrough standpoint Seviper is much more versatile than Zangoose, giving it an edge in terms of what role it can fit on a team. It's perfectly able to learn moves like Flamethrower and Earthquake while Zangoose cannot.
Well, Zangshit can learn Flamethrower and even the other 90 BP Special moves but be real it's has 60 Sp.Atk. My point is Seviper is just much more versatile and worthwhile to have on a team since it go special or physical. While Zangshit is strictly a Physical Pokemon plus it also lacks any resistance while Seviper's resistance to Grass, Poison, or Fighting may come in handy.
