The leader is a fighter so luckily I brought starly who learned Wing Attack. Also its like the 2nd leader in Emerald with the dark cave because for some reason that helps with fighting(??). He had a level 9 Tyrogue, a level 9 Scraggy and a level 10 Hitmonchan. In two Bulk Ups, he took out my level 12 Chimchar with a Tackle.
Holy shit.
Anyway, the kungfu badge raises attack for all pokemon. Now I'm capable of using rock smash even though I have not run into any smashable rocks as of now. And he gave me Bulk Up.
>woohooRight as I'm about to leave town, Sky returns out of nowhere (this seems to be a rather popular concept in this hack. people coming from nowhere.) And congratulates me on beating Martin - then wants to fight me. All he has is a level 10 Hippopotas.
After beating him, he gives the typical "I'll beat you next time!" statement, then randomly gives you the HM rock smash. Whatevs cuz, its good. He then proceeds to show you how to use the HM on the route outside.
