Tott: I would say gen 4 UU, because really a huge variety of pokemon and playstyles was viable, with pretty much nothing that centralized the meta too much.
GSC and ADV OU were really good, even though centralized as hell. What i like about them is that they revolve more around strategy to win, other than overpowering everything with 120 base power Dragon attacks and similar.
