Reviewers aren't "domesticated" this is just what they always do.

Large gaming review sites always fluff up review scores. They know that the "normie" audience that they have isnt as aware of the SwSh controversy. They pumped up the score for the sake of clicks, not to mention how they're probably sucking up to GF to ensure that they'll always get review copies of new Pokemon games. Give a bad review? No review copy.
Just as many of us did with a boycott, the next logical solution is to provide consumer reviews over sites like Amazon and Metacritic. I don't care if you review bomb it, or if you post your legit opinion, just be sure that you're letting people know that big companies aren't reflective of the community's opinion.
