>>46191562That wouldn't be hard, anon. Just take an average Pokemon plot and sprinkle a bit of extra flair to it.
>The game's main setting is your average everyday Pokemon world, really. Could have more of a focus on, say, a certain climate. I'm partial to the idea of a snowier region up north.>Who knows, could bring relevance to a lesser-known or underutilized Pokemon like Calyrex, with it being a kingly being that promotes good harvest even when it's cold. It's not exactly plot-relevant, just a sort of reasoning explained with a Pokemon, and could make for a fun optional thing in the postgame.>Cities feel more like cities, with plenty to do, optional shit out the ass, neat Pokemon encounters rewarding the curious. Stuff like that.>The evil team are run of the mill gangsters except not really, and have taken to working underground, controlling a lot more of the region than expected and no one batting an eye. Naturally you learn things are up real quick and with some help, put a stop to it.>Of course, Gym Leaders are important too, and while they aren't Reborn-levels of important, they do have their time and place to assist in the story. >The rivals could be an interesting case. Maybe one is a older, grizzled detective with a thing for finding the truth, and is sort of what motivates figuring out just what's up with the evil team.>On the flipside, another rival is a younger prankster, willing to perform morally questionable acts on a dime, although they're usually just out of enjoyment or aren't actually harmful and are more a way to get the attention they want. Think something like battling you in front of a Pokemon Center, going in to heal, and then battling you again.>The prankster rival is secretly an Elite 4 member, and anything he told about himself beforehand is a total lie, which he unashamedly reveals. Who knows, maybe he was put on the Elite 4 on the spot and wanted to affirm his status as the best of the best.>All in all, it's just an adventure.
