Still disappointed your friends or the very least 'rival' didn't wind up members, only to be disillusioned/terrified by Lyandre's final solution. That way the game still plays out more or less the same with you trying to stop it regardless, as what kind of kid would agree with that?
It would have been cool if you took over Team Skull though. Some goofy post-game quests to help out all the grunts live better lives and stuff disguised as hoodlum acts.
