UBs and some megas look like they're not Pokemon, sure, but I find it hard to believe you can look at these and say that.

That it's "iconic", that it's "fun" without substantiating anything. It's like they close their ears and eyes when something new from the franchise is put in front of them. Yeah, the new gens have their fair share of ugly designs (A lot of the no-evo water Pokemon are starting to end up like that) and Alola isn't exactly the greatest region for exploration, but holy shit the way they just dismiss everything drives me up a wall.
