okay, as a test run, i went through the first sublayer of babel
this is definitely gonna be rough lol
>every trainer has some combination of illegal moves, ultimate/ascendant/nullifier items, or multiple megas (i've seen some teams that are literally just entirely megas)>there is a LOT of toxicspam. i think every other pokemon had toxic on them>in theory all you'd need to beat is 3 trainers per floor, but in practice you fight a LOT more than that. the dungeon is generous with healing items for now, but you get the key more likely within 5-6 trainers, so potentially double the theoretical 81 fight number>you cannot use the pokemon's held item menu to access your bag, the only items here from your normal bag are the ones your mons are holding. the super trainer on each floor does not really seem that worth fighting. i guess he could give an item that heals your entire team fully but he seemed to just give lousy rewards for just fighting a stronger team and doesn't help work towards finding the key. will need more testing albeit
on the flipside, i think my team is pretty good. xerneas, magearna, rayquaza in particular are amazing. still have yet to test groudon and jirachi
also, using foul play versus the first sublayer boss OHKO'd both of them kek, even malamar without dark aura up. albeit they were just the first boss, and both weak to it
i'm not going to go all the way or anything, just want to see what works and what doesn't for now
>>56904336G motherfucking G bro
>>56904330you got this dude, don't give up
>>56904351you unfortunately don't hit hard enough with regigigas without bulk up, i think. enemy mons here are weird, i've seen a few things live +4 or +5 attacks from magearna completely unprompted
knock off is quite nice for all the retarded OP items though. maybe might actually end up giving up wide guard itself kek, i'll check the moves list
>I strongly recommend Recovery Disc it's fair. PP restoring items are a bit scarce here
