Was never particularly impressed with Platinum's improvements compared to Emerald and pre-release info making me think certain changers or additions would be much bigger than they were especially with the two years dev time unlike Crystal and Emerald coming out only a year after the last game, it is better, just not enough to bump it up to a 9 for me
