The battle ends after 5 turns. After each battle, all non-fainted Pokemon (yours and the opponents) are shuffled and you get 3 randomly from the group (if you fainted all of the opponent's Pokemon, this part is skipped and you keep your mons). The 5 turn rule also doesn't happen when you face the Facility Leader: Mix Master Waruyama
