I used modest goodra w assault vest adamant azumarril with leftovers and timid charizard y. Tanky powerhouses with a good coverage set and uncommon weaknesses seem to work well. Charizard y also just has some decent one shot kill moves as well. Another route is mega lucario or mega blaziken for quick sweeps. You just have to have a way around gimmicky stall shit cause the rng hax is infuriating sometimes especially for ice punch freezes. Also EV training really helps if you know which pokemon will do work for you ahead of time.
