I can't defend the removal of the SOUL from the friend camps tho, but I can understand. With the inclusion of the buffing items like the gummies and the vitamins, it makes it easier to check the team's stats for a quick buff. They kept the music and the sprites are kinda cute.
All in all it's not a perfect remake but it's certainly not as trash as you niggas make it out to be. It's meant to be played casually and if you expected any more then you're shooting yourself in the foot expecting any decent quality from this god-forsaken franchise.
