No. Pokemon is much more relatively similar to Metroid.

It wouldn't surprise me if the original draft of Prime 4 would have been equally abysmal as SWSH. At least there isn't two subscription services totalling $20 a year to transfer my metroid powerups to the next game even if they don't have them in the game and thus don't allow me to do so.
