Emerald is easy af with a starting seed of 0 every time and paintings letting you get other seeds.
R/S always has a starting seed of 5A0 if you have dead batteries
Gen 4/5 is super easy as well, depending on the date and the amount of time between turning the game on and starting the save.
Colo/XD have an actual difference though. The method used with date/time is impossible to recreate in actual consoles, and there's always the annoying noise for some mons that jumps frames like crazy.
TL:DR There is a difference with Colo/XD, and it's infinitely easier to RNG FR/LG in emulator, but for everything else you're right.
