>>23067730If this special was every episode people would shit on it just as much. This was basically "Pokemon blowing shit up: The episode". It was already getting boring within the episode really. The two main characters of these specials have barely any character development so aside from a "that's cute" moment I don't see what's so great about the hug. It also has the same problem as the main anime where story-wise almost nothing happened.
Not saying the main anime is any good, but I don't see how this would be any better on a regular basis. Good shows have a good story.
