>>41428716The issue with this design in particular is that it doesn’t convey any sort of idea of what kind of Pokémon it is. Take snorlax for example, it’s ambiguous as to what it is, but its design is able to convey what lind of Pokemon it is, and that is a Pokémon that is stated to eat for most of the day and sleep for the rest. Nothing about indeedee’s design conveys anything at all, it just looks like a generic mascot for some obscure Japanese cafe.
