I do think the proportions bit is seriously over-exaggerated since you can claim the same of several other mons, starters or not, and it's fucking pokemon. I didn't know every mon was supposed to be adhering 1:1 to their equivalent animal or item.
The buff-bara-muscle thing is also overblown. Does everyone forget tigers are actually pretty buff as cats go?
