I lost Aves to N in Chargestone Cave through switching in on Joltik, believing he'd go for Bug Bite since Versailles was still out. He instead went for Electroweb. I tried for an Actrobatics considering the sheer level disparity and I thought he outsped him, but I was fatally proven wrong. Then, in the Celestial Tower, I lost both Meow II and Bunker to an Ace Trainer's Stoutland, the latter from a crit Fire Fang that I didn't even know it had. Iron Barbs took it out...but it was mighty Pyrrhic even then.
And THEN, I lose Donald to another goddamn crit Secret Power just inches from being a Swanna.
I've evolved Flora and Aurum, and I finally have Serperior in a run...but hell if I know what I'm gonna do against Skyla. Wing it, I guess.
May take a break for now - have White up in the air as well.
