Beloved for their whimsical appearance and abilities, Hatterene's evolutionary line unfortunately remains a popular choice among would-be trainers. Each year, hundreds of Hatenna are adopted by people unaware of their notorious temperament issues. Unable or unwilling to care for this high-maintenance Pokemon, they sadly then end up abandoned.
