Why he never learns why he never grows...this show has been running for almost 16 years now. And unlike other series like OP this show has a concrete audience, kids, most of the actual watchers never saw first episodes (or they watched some random episodes in replays).
This is like Doraemon, no one ever complains about why Nobita never ages, but this is Pokemon and must be complainined for one reason or another.
