Green team's done now. Thank god for fast forward. I had a lot more fun with this team, half of which was due to the much faster grinding. At least half the blue team had a slow level up curve.
Fun fact, if you use the shiny gameshark code in the bug catching contest, the game spergs outs in a couple ways. The park balls are no longer usable and the battle menu is like normal so you can catch bugs with normal balls. However, after the contest, whatever you catch will turn into a clone of one of the mons that weren't in the first slot with the bug's level and all those 2nd-6th slot mons are gone for good.
