So question for any savy Crystal bros. I'm working on a personal crystal disassem. I plan to fix some of the shittier sprites, and add a few entirely new ones to the game. I first tested it with a custom togekiss sprite and while the sprite and animation worked perfectly, the colors were a bit fucked. Only got the white and black. I thought maybe the palette might be limited to the pokemon I was replacing, but using the identical 2 colors resulted in only 1 color showing up with the other replaced with black. I then tried to go even smaller, moving a scant 4 black pixels on a piloswine sprite and once more the secondary color was gone. Any deviation from the base no matter how minor seems to just delete a color from it ingame. Any idea what's causing this and how to fix it?
