I know there are arguments on both sides for why to do one before the other, but I think since so many R/R events were removed in order to do the initial round of event votes that it would make a lot of people feel better about going ahead with them.
Obviously we don't need to do EVERY RIVAL EVENT, just the ones pertinant to the Rivals plot (that being the theft of their pokemon, and what becomes of that)
