Switch dev kits were sent out well in advance to these developers. Around 2015 or so. GF has been most likely developing Gen 8 for at least two years now, with 2018 making it a third. If you honestly believe Masuda's line about waiting how the Switch does, you seriously need to put your autism cap back on.
