While we're on the topic, has Serena ever fought Team Flare by herself willingly in the anime? In the games, she always takes the initiative to fight Team Flare, and in recognition of the Player's strength tells them to go on ahead while she deals with the grunts. But she still doesn't hesitate to charge into battle against 2 admins even if the player isn't able to help.
I honestly can't remember Serena doing this. Even the other pokegirls never really did this. The ash anime severely nerfed all of them and ruined the lore.
