>>48785588>Rocket HideoutThe guy guarding the poster and Giovanni's bodyguards are all now minibosses. All fairly easy, none of them even really came close to knocking something out.
>GiovanniNaturally, much tougher. His team - Infernape, Nidoking, Silvally Ghost, Torterra, Gyarados, Mega Kangaskhan.
I lead Fearow and Giovanni fucking switches to Silvally Ghost, no idea why, I guess he saw I could kill him? Anyway I have to swap to Ferro here as I know an Explosion is coming, only move it can hit Fearow with. Back to Infernape, I pivot to Fearow to do what I meant and Dual Wingbeat through his Sash, but he gets up rocks, which is REALLY bad for me. Out's Nido, I pivot to Swanna via Pikachu-PhD to Hydro Pump it, Sharp Beak Hurricane Torterra (thankfully Swanna gets No Guard as an HA), and on Mega Kang I swap to Turtonator, Shell Trap twice through its Power Up Punches then swap Ferro on Body Slam to let it kill itself.
But now Gyarados, and here's why rocks are bad. I meant to swap between Pikachu and my own Gyara, as the AI will, if it has a setup, keep going for the setup move if it doesn't see a kill on what you have out and you can't kill it quickly. Pikachu would slowly kill w/ Fake Out while it would keep spamming Dragon Dance. But rocks meant I could only do this a few times, so I had to mix in Ferro swaps to chip it just a bit more. Was prepared to sack Fearow, but...he just ended up going for DD twice on the turn I sent it in, so I just killed. Epic.
>>48785844Nice to see some of the random trainers got a boost in difficulty, I guess. Nice strategy for Gardenia, and even nicer you've got no deaths so far, hope it keeps up.
And yeah, I do like this hack, even if it's a bit high difficulty. Thankfully there are easier modes.
>>48786541Fucking shame. Hope you can recover, man. Also lol, all this BDSP running make me want to try the game myself.
And thanks. It's nice Mienshao's evo level got shifted back.
