This is the worst hype season ever. Nothing to get excited about, nothing to speculate over, every monster they reveal looks uglier than the last, Dynamax and Gigantimax aren't interesting in the slightest, and the most heated and passionate argument so far has been what the fucking abbreviations for the game titles should be. I don't even care too much about the Dex culling, the modern state of Pokemon has far bigger problems than that.
Every time a new trailer comes up, all it ever is is GameFreak making absolute fools of themselves as fans spot about 100 new technical goofs or cut corners that prove that the people who make these games are incompetent beyond all belief, considering the gargantuan IP they're being trusted with. The schadenfreude has gotten old at this point, I'm just tired of it all and want to see this zombie of a series die already.
