I've read the specials up to the last bit of the heart gold bit, though god knows why they stopped doing scanlations past that. The only issue I ever really had with it are the chapters that focus on characters that should'nt have it- yellow I could understand, she's not the worst thing in the world, but Emerald, UGH that design was heresy to my eyes, At that point I didn't give two shits about plot importance, I just skipped to where the ACTUAL characters got released. And may doesn't seem right as she was portrayed at first (dat snaggle teeth), but at least they had a good reason plot-wise why she was like that.
And that's it. Those are my only real complaints. The one off-shoot complaint I have is how people keep referencing when Arbok got cut in half, yet never mention IT FREAKING REGENERATED AND RECOVERED. And yet somehow omit the rotting zombie pokemon corpses walking around, but that's the fandoms fault.
