I feel like Emboar and Samurott are two of the most mediocre designs in the series, they don't piss me off like Incineroar, Primarina, the 8 starters, Quaquaval and Meowscarada do but still. Emboar should have been a quadrupedal boar, some fags will bitch to no end that it had to be an anthropomorphic pig because "muh journey to the west", we'd already had Fire/Fighting bipedal starters for 2 generations in a roll by that point, it doesn't help it that it doesn't even look very good to begin with. Samurott just looks super awkward, it's a quadruped that awkwardly flails it's front paws to wield shell swords and all of it's design aspects would point to it being a Fighting type, but instead Emboar got that typing, I feel like these two would be so much better if their stances got switched around and Emboar was made into a Fire/Ground Pokemon while Samurott was Water/Fighting other than could stand on it's hind limbs. I know some people will bitch to no end that.

But frankly at this point I think people in general are sick of humanoid starters that are often painfully overdesigned monstrosities that usually fall into the jobmon category as well.
