I like gloomy girls too. Maybe I just see happy girls as fake or I have a negative view on the world. I don't think this is healthy though. Shouldnt you want the girl you love or will love to be happy? I also think that I might want them to be a bit obsessed with me, or if I can be the one to make them happier. It might sound nice, but there's a selfishness to it too. If I'm the reason she's happy maybe I'm trying to make up for lost attention or maybe I just think the sex will be better, but as I said, I should want her to be happy and not dependent on me for that
