>>43312978Depends on what you're trying to do, if it's body parts/clothing you'll need to do it so the added bones match the base mesh's rigging but if it's something like hair then you can just kinda put it in place and it's easier. If you don't want seams then you'd have to either find a way to merge them while keeping the weighting or to do it through a shader, dunno how that'd work in Blender.
