I think it doesn't look serious at all. That pose makes it seem like it's t posing, as if the animators didn't give it a stance yet. It does not convey any emotion like a living being. Compre that to Venusar/Torterra which scream "I won't tolerate any bullshit" or Sceptile looking smug as fuck.
It also has a really shitty fucking name tbqh
