I know it's nitpicking, but seriously, with all the effort they put in the show at times, why is it so hard to make things follow simple rules of physics? I know, I understand, TR gets contractual immunity from death and dismemberment, that's fine. What bugs me is Ash's Pikachu, able to physically break ground with the power of the electricity, not even being able to stop Ash. I don't care how swole Ash is, or how many gains he got. Something even at 1/100th the power of Pika's max output (which he wasn't controlling or dialing down since psycho and all) would kill. I know I know, just a cartoon, but seriously, can't he at least NOT walk while getting hit?
It's weird, some things they research, some they don't. I was watching Justice League, and I cringed when I saw a female submariner on a boomer radio for help. Yes. Underwater.
Just a LITTLE effort is all I'm asking for.
