We all fucking know that isn't a possibility however, maybe this game being absolute shit is Masuda trying his best to make his statement during ORAS 'kids are too busy on their phones to play actual games' a thing by purposely making the mainline game shit while the mobile version somehow manages to be appetizing.
And well, it worked. I don't know where they intend to go after being known as the company that managed to fuck up something as easy as Pokemon, but this is where they want to be.
