Sometimes I feel like exploring a region and catching hundreds of disposable dumb grunting monsters, and sometimes I feel like raising a single monster and watching him go from a silly kickboxing dog to an anubis dragon mecha knight.
I think some of you are missing out by acting like you need to choose one over the other. They both have excellent features to offer and if you took five minutes to play both series you'd find out that they don't even try to step into each other's lanes. The only thing they have in common is that they both have -mon in the title.
